Level System and Progression

AI Ant Civilization is structured as a chain of levels. Each level has goals — collect X food, survive Y minutes, drive off Z predators. Completing a level grants upgrade points (UP) that unlock permanent bonuses.
Goals
Goals are evaluated every frame. A level is "cleared" once all goals are met simultaneously. Failed levels can be retried at any time; the colony can be reset with no penalty.
Upgrade points (UP)
UP is the meta-currency. You earn it by clearing a level for the first time. Spend it in the Upgrade Center to permanently increase the starting food, starting ants, or starting soldiers of your next run.
Unlocking the next level
Each level unlocks the next in sequence. Clear "foraging_101" to unlock "maze_001", clear that to unlock "defense_001", and so on.
